Business Context: 


Knowledge sharing and documentation is a best practice for all organizations, but so many struggle to maintain this practice because it is labor intensive and there are few ways to manage it. 

Sugarwork is a start-up founded in 2022 to faciliate the transfer of knowledge between retiring Baby Boomer employees and their successors. 80% of the information that powers companies is not documented--its in people’s heads--and when experienced employees leave, that knowledge goes with them, risking business continuity.

Sugarwork’s platform combines enterprise features such as role-based access control permissions, Microsoft, Google, and Zoom integrations, and an AI bot to facilitate and record conversations between employees. Our AI pipelines then transform these conversations into specialized documents in minutes to clarify the best practices and opportunities for improvement for organizations. 



The Challenge:


Sugarwork’s original MVP was difficult to use and not well defined, hindering Sugarwork’s ability to scale. We had a powerful team of engineers, but no one in product to lead the process.
